Shaykh Suhel Teli

After graduating from Stuyvesant high school in 1991, Shaikh Suhel Teli attended Columbia University for three years as a Biochemistry/Pre-med major and achieved Dean’s List every semester. He took MCATS and scored amongst the highest percentile in the region. Directly before applying for medical schools, Shaykh Suhel Teli had the opportunity to pursue the Islamic sciences in Jamia Binoria, Karachi. He enrolled in the institution from 1994 to 2000. Some of the prominent scholars he has studied under are: Maulana Azizur Rehman, Mufti Atiqur Rehman, Maulana Abdul Majeed, and many more. He has been involved in propagating Islam not only in the United States but throughout the world. He has traveled to South America, Middle East, South Asia and Europe, delivering sermons and inviting towards Muslim reformation to live a life of peace and submission to Allah, the Sublime. Since returning to the United States, he has been a full-time teacher in Darul Uloom New York in Jamaica, Queens.
