A Brief Introduction of Shaykh Maulana Ayadh Seedat Saheb Damat Barakatuhum

Mawlana Ayadh Saheb was born and brought up in Leicester, U.K., where he received his primary education.
He then enrolled into Darul Uloom Bury, the first Islamic institute that opened in the U.K., where he completed the Alimiyyah course and studied under prominent Ulama of the UK, namely Shaykh Mawlana
Yusuf Motala Saheb Hafidhahullah, Shaykh-al- Hadith Mawlana Islamul Haq Saheb Rahimahullah and Shaykh-
al-Hadith Maulana Muhammad Saleem Dhorat Saheb Hafidhahullah, who at that time was a teacher at Darul
Uloom Bury. Thereafter, the respected Mawlana went to Al-Azhar University in Egypt, where he did his
Takhassus fil Hadith (a course specializing in Hadith).

Currently, Mawlana Ayadh Saheb is the principal of Jameah Riyadhul Uloom (full-time boys’ Darul Uloom) and
Riyadhus Salihat (the girls’ Madrassah) that run under the IDA, where the respected Mawlana is also a lecturer of Hadith, namely Sahih-al-Muslim and Mishkat-al-Masabih.

He also serves as head Imam at Masjid Noor in Leicester, where he is also the principal of the evening maktab,
where approximately 500-600 boys and girls attend classes daily.

He is well-known for his piety and humble nature from his young days. The personality and character of the
respected Mawlana can be summed up in a simple sentence, as put by one of his students who is now himself
a teacher at the IDA: “Hazrat Mawlana sees no evil, hears no evil, and speaks no evil." He is also the first
Khalifah of Shaykh-al-Hadith Hadhrat Mawlana Muhammad Saleem Dhorat Saheb Hafizahullah, who is the
founder and Shaykh-aI-Hadith of the Islamic Dawah Academy.

About the Islamic Dawah Academy and Its Founder:

The IDA was established in 1991 by the world renowned Alim and Spiritual Mentor, Revivor of the Youth,
Shaykh-al-Hadith Mawlana Muhammad Saleem Dhorat Saheb Hafizahullah. He was one of the first Ulama who
started the work of Deen in the English language through lectures and publications. He initially started an evening maktab for older students who had completed the general maktab system. He introduced Further Education (FE) classes and a Part-Time Alim Course for which cover the first year of the Alim Course. He then opended the full-time Darul Uloom for boys, Jameah Riyadhul Uloom, in 1997, and Riyadhus Salihat in 2004, which offers the full Alimiyyah course for females in the form of day-time classes. He currently serves as Shaykh-al-Hadith (lecturer of Sahih-aI-Bukhari) in both of these institutions, and is the Chief Editor of the Riyadhul Jannah, the monthly magazine of the IDA The IDA also has a publication department that provides various books and leaflets in the English and Urdu languages. A few works have also been translated into Gujarati, Bengali, French and Spanish. Shaykh-al-Hadith Mawlana Muhammad Saleem Dhorat Saheb Hafizahullah has also excelled in the field of Tasawwuf and has been granted Khilafah in all of the Salasil from
many reliable Ulama, namely Mawlana Muhammad Yusuf Ludhyanwi. He also has Ijazat-al-Hadith from
eminent Ulama, bo the from the Indian Sub-Continent and the Arab World.
